Hey gals! Happy Weekend to you! Do you have any fun plans? Daylight savings starts Sunday and I’ll be the weirdo that admits I’m totally going to miss these dark mornings. I just love being up before the sun is and having a cup of coffee in silence. But I’ll be happy about the extra hour of sleep we’ll be getting (though I’m sure Charlie hasn’t really picked up how the clock works over here haha). We have our first babysitter coming tomorrow and I’m totally anxious to leave my baby for a few hours! The sitter’s a doll but I’m a mess of hormones and am feeling super protective on my little guy that I feel only I really know. Deep breaths, Meg! It will all be okay.
We’re heading out to dinner, to see Jim Gaffigan, and then to a friend’s Oktoberfest, so it’s going to be one busy (and FUN!) Saturday night.

Now let’s talk about this pretty little dress! No seemless transitions today (baby is about to wake up!) so let’s just roll with it, ya?
GALS, I have found the perfect autumn dress and I’m in LOVE! Hunter green, silk, and dainty floral with ruffle detail to boot! What more can a girl ask for? During this season, I am usually drawn to plaids, sweaters, and cozy pieces. Just set me down in a pile of leaves and a view and I’m one happy girl. But let’s be honest, I’m a dress lover through and through and though I’m wearing them less frequently these days (#thatmomlifetho), I couldn’t help but take this one home. Gorgeous and totally perfect for transitioning right into the Holiday Season. Kinda wish I had this cardigan to wear with it.
Spoiler alert: my wardrobe will probably go under a dramatic change this next year. I spend most of my days in yoga pants and nursing bras and a few tops that I can manage with both. It’s not glamorous at all and I’m totally cool with that. Casual and comfy is key ;) But Eric and I are figuring out a way to get more dates on the calendar and nights out with friends, and having a few fun dresses to make me feel #thatyounglife again is just what this girls needs.
And that’s a wrap for today! I’m taking C out on some adventures so I can get out of the house. Have a wonderful weekend!
XO
