Dress: ASOS | Bangle: Kate Spade | Shoes: BP
Greetings from Chicago, loves! I must say, it’s a tad chillier here than in Austin. I just spent the morning shoveling our driveway after quite a bit of snowfall last night and now I’m sitting down to write with a cup of tea. It’s definitely not feeling like Spring here but I’m enjoying my first snow of 2017! It’s kind of an odd thing to miss (especially when you think of digging your car out and traffic), but gosh, it’s so pretty. Even in March…
So naturally, I thought I’d share a very warm weather, spring-inspired floral dress… Until I moved to Austin, I never really enjoyed spring. Mostly because it would look like days today (snowy, freezing, never know what tomorrow will bring, kind of weather)… But Spring is the most beautiful time of year in ATX!
I have been on a roll with floral dresses lately. I love the pretty flower prints and all the different styles. This one is simple. And it’s under $40! It’s easy to wear to a spring wedding or to Church or on Easter Sunday. It fits true to size (wearing a US4 for reference) and is actually a very light shade of blue (although it looks pretty white in these pictures). It’s comfortable and looks great with simple nude heels and gold jewelry.
I’m really excited to be home over Spring Break. I’m going to catch up with a friend tomorrow and meet her baby and stop by my grandma’s tomorrow after afternoon. My dad returns from a business trip in London on Thursday and I’m hoping to do something Irish-themed with the family to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day on Friday :) I haven’t made many plans for the week and I’m excited about that. Sometimes it’s nice to come home and just be. You know?
I hope you enjoy your week! I’m off to go on a long walk and have lunch with my mom :) Xoxo
