Can you believe Lent starts today? I feel like Christmas was yesterday. But we are making our way into spring early this year and I can’t believe the blue bonnets are already blooming! I’m excited for the most beautiful season in Austin but not quite ready to put those sweaters away!

Have you thought about what you are going to give up or take on for Lent? I have only participated in Lent the past few years because I did not grow up with the tradition. I’ve used it as an opportunity, selfishly of course, to try and give up something to get my health back in shape. Stop eating sweets. Get rid of snacks. Get back to the gym… Ha ha… I think a lot of us have had these resolutions before.

Though I do intend on giving up cheese this year (it’s become a recent obsession that makes my tummy hurt every time but tastes ohsogood), I also plan on doing a 40 day uncluttering project. I want to rid myself of one thing each day. From clothes, to nic nacs, to random chargers, to old files from years ago, I think I can do it!

Now that we’re moving into Spring, I thought I’d share this cute cold shoulder floral blouse. It’s my first cold shoulder purchase and I love it. Its a different look for sure and I love the print and color and how perfect it is for transitioning seasons. It’s effortlessly edgy with the cutouts and is perfect for a girls night out. I suggest wearing a strapless bra with it and some cute booties ;)

Now let me tell you a little something about my TOMs booties before I let you go. I got them last summer and they are my favorite booties to this day. And as a person who “looks like a dinosaur” when I walk in uncomfortable heels (thanks, E- but so true!), I’m telling you these are the most comfortable shoes that have a block heel. I can wear them for hours without feeling uncomfortable. Often, a peep toe will cut into your toes… I think I had to wear these once before my toes were used to it. I highly recommend you try these shoes! And they come in three great colors. Insert thumbs up emoji here___… :)
