I don’t know about you but I love holidays. Each and every one of them, just about. And Valentine’s Day is no exception. Having a holiday to look forward to after Christmas and one that celebrates love makes me happy.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be a Hallmark holiday full of cards and roses and candy (although it totally can be) or one where you have self-doubts about your relationship status… Always choose to look at the bright side of things! For me, it’s about wearing red and pink, sending snail mail and hand written cards, and finding an excuse to dress up and celebrate! I’ll take any excuse to dress up and celebrate…

On a beautiful 75 degree winter Sunday, I got together with some of my favorite girls and did just that. We made it a “Galentine’s Day” celebration all about sisterhood. We sampled wine and enjoyed a whimsical afternoon of pure bliss at one of my favorite local wineries: Fall Creek Vineyard…

Fall Creek is a must-do if you’re celebrating a Bachelorette party or looking for an afternoon getaway with your guy. I love sitting on their patio overlooking the vineyard and sipping their wines. Plus The Salt Lick BBQ is right across the street and really hits the spot after a glass of vino.

These girls mean so much to me! Blogging can be difficult at times when you’re constantly putting yourself out there at the mercy of your audience wondering will this be liked? is this too much? did I say the right thing?

These gals are the best support network. And such beautiful people inside and out. We get together regularly for dinners, brunch, local events, shopping, happy hour- well everything friends would get together for. And I’m so grateful for their friendship & support!
