Good Morning & Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend :) We enjoyed our first weekend in town with absolutely zero plans. We saw Girl on the Train on Friday night at the Domain Ipic theater and it was awesome. I volunteered Saturday at Zach Theater and got to see Charlotte’s Web! They had a petting zoo outside which if you know me, was the cherry on top of a beautiful day. Little bunnies prancing around? SO CUTE. We caught the Aggies game Saturday night with friends and spent our Sunday getting errands done. I got to enjoy a restaurant sneak preview of Culinary Dropout (it’s a MUST and the restaurant opens THURSDAY!) with my friend Alex and we had a blast walking around the Domain. For an unplanned weekend, we sure made the most of it! It was quite nice. Ahead of me is a super busy week with some blogging events and the Junior League Christmas Affair… if you haven’t attended before, it’s SO much fun! And it will definitely get you in the holiday spirit…which Eric and I totally already in…
Now did anyone else get a professional photo taken for their Christmas card that doesn’t have any kids? (Have you even thought about your Christmas card?) Nope? Just us? Well heyyyyy. Welcome to my new favorite shoot: his & hers by Kelsey Butler Photography. Eric met Kelsey and me at Laguna Gloria where she and I were doing a shoot and snapped a few photos together :)
There is so much merriment and cheer through November and December, and of course, always a fun party or two to attend. I recently found the cutest burgundy high neck dress with the gorgeous subtle cutouts. I’m in love! It’s the perfect color for fall and dress for a holiday cocktail party. Or Thanksgiving, which is right around the corner! I paired it with my new favorite crystal drop earrings from Etsy which people keep asking me about ;) They are perfect for any fancy occasion or as a gift for a bridesmaid or future bride. And of course I’m wearing my nude lace up heels… Which I will keep wearing over and over again until the weather gets cold. They are too cute not to be worn regularly.
How dapper does E look? I mean wow. He is sporting a button down from David Donahue and his favorite Lucchese cowboy boots. So perfect for Texas ;) We both have a pair and LOVE them! He dressed his look up with a Navy Sport Coat ( I tagged a similar one) and his favorite Joe’s Jeans. He looks handsome and together without being too dressed up. Western chic if you will? Well maybe if he was wearing his brown sport coat. But let’s just roll with it. Why not…
I’m super proud of him right now too because his company Arrive Logistics was just named one of the top places in Austin to work! You can check out the list here (his company is #46 on the Small Employers list). Such an accomplishment, especially since they have only been open just over 2 years!
I’m off to enjoy my busy Monday full of errands (and a dentist appointment… woof). Have a lovely day!
