Happy Wednesday loves! I’m so excited for this weekend because we are hosting a Halloween party! I don’t know about y’all, but I love holidays. Like every one of them. An excuse to put up new decorations around the house and celebrate is enough for me! What I love about Halloween is seeing all the adorable kiddos in their costumes out and about trick or treating. It’s the sweetest thing. I remember how fun it was to dress up and run to all the neighbors houses and figure out who had the best candy options with my friends. Candy overload was never more welcome. Nowadays I still love to dress up (I can’t wait to show you our costumes) and celebrate with friends! We’re having a contest and I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.

But for now, let’s talk about this little black dress… shall we?

There is something so classic and timeless about a little black dress. They never go out of style. When you’re at a loss of what to wear, a black dress is a safe bet ;) Black is a flattering color on the body and hides those bumps and rolls like no other color can. Thank goodness. I love this flirty little number I got from Express a while back (similar here) and how comfortable and versatile it is! Wear it with heels and it’s a bit fancier. Pair it with a blanket scarf and boots and get cozy. My favorite. Or just wear booties like I did and it’s the perfect date night outfit! Having a black dress or two in your closet is an absolute must!

If you’re scrambling for a Halloween costume this year and maybe don’t feel like putting way too much effort into your get up, consider a little black dress and a pair of Mini Mouse ears. So easy & cute! Been there, done that (twice).
