While we are currently melting here in Austin, all I can do is dream of cooler weather and ensembles that will transition me from bright & light to cool and cozy. One of my favorite transitional pieces is a good bootie. Booties are perfect to pair with dresses, denim, shorts, etc and are a perfect accessory for making your outfit look a little more fall. There are so many cool shades and styles. I especially love Vince Camuto, more specifically the Kathleen Peeptoe and the Feina bootie in black. I love how the Kathleen exposes a little more ankle and how to Feina goes with just about every fall ensemble. And these Fiana Tassle booties are pretty amazing too :) Vince Camuto tends to sell out quickly so if there is a style and color you love, I recommend snagging it quickly. Last year I was so bummed when my favorite boots sold out! Sigh…

I’ve taken lots of pictures in my Tom’s Majorca open toe booties and I absolutely adore them. I find them super comfortable too. Sometimes you’ll get blisters and cuts on your toes from open toe but these are a little more gentle on those feet! They come in many colors including stucco, black, tarmac suede, and brown suede. They are so flattering on the legs! :)
Sam Edelman has quickly become one of my favorite shoe designers and I love all the different sandals I found last season :) I’m not surprised that he makes gorgeous booties too! I love this Reesa bootie in black and it comes in other colors too. And if you’re not a heel person and want flat booties, these Petty Chelsea booties are exquisite! I especially love the deep saddle leather. Imagine that with dark skinnies & a big ole flannel wrap sitting fireside with a pumpkin spiced candle, some tea, and good friends. Am I getting ahead of myself? Sorry, these booties tell me stories.
Now if you’re looking for a gorgeous shoe under $100, I have a few options for you. Kristin Cavallari (AH- I love her) has a shoe line called Chinese Laundry and her Kelso Open back bootie is to die for! B.P has a ‘Trott’ bootie in a beautiful suede and also a low heel ‘Tripp’ bootie. There are SO MANY OPTIONS :)
And you can’t forget Frye. Except that I did and don’t have any pictures above, but Frye is my favorite boot company. They sell them at our local cowboy boot store which to me says they’re the real deal. They’re fabulous leather and sturdy. They wear well. And they are so gorgeous. My favorite booties are the Cara Short Leather Boots and the Renee booties.
I wish these booties I’m wearing below were still in stock but I got them three years ago. They are my favorite to break out every fall and winter and I adore the side buckles and color. I get so many compliments! Cheers to my bestie Andrea for picking them out for me and insisting I buy them over another pair I saw eyeing… they really are the best! I would say the most similar one are these Sole Society boots :)
What’s your favorite boot look or shoe company? Have you had your eye on any certain pair? I’d love to hear :)
STAY BOOTIEFUL :)

I always LOVE how booties look on other people but I think they look weird on me. I feel like Puss in Boots with them haha.
I really like Vince Camuto too. I used to think it was crazy to spend over $100 on a pair of shoes, but especially with any type of boots, good quality ones will look great and last a LONG time!
