Cognac & Summer Neutrals

Cognac, cream, & gold! If you ask me, basic is where ya ought to be… When I think of summer fashion, I generally think of bold and bright colors, vibrant patterns and prints, and lots of flowy dresses. These simple pieces I’m sharing today are excellent accessories to accompany all different outfits! Neutral kind of goes with everything…amiright? I especially love cognac with denim… What do you think?!

Let’s talk shoes. Are any of you Jack Rogers fans? I bought my first pair at the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale and they go with practically every dress I own. Madewell has an array of the cutest flats and sandals (don’t even get me started on their bootie line) and I’ve had my eye on these Boardwalk Sliders which are currently on sale! You just slip them on and they are perfect for a more casual look. If you want to give your legs a little oompfh, you havetohavetohaveto check out these adorable ankle strap sandals from Rizzaa. Please imagine them paired with a denim dress or cutoffs & a tank (I imagine this olive OTS top, but that’s just me). Amazing, right? Or you could go the classic route with Tory Burch…

Bags are a big part of a look too. Below I’m lovin’ on my Tory Burch I got five years ago… STILL my favorite go-to bag that can be worn with just about everything. The color is key. I adore this Street Level tote from Nordstrom that is under $35 and can hold all your goods + more. Can you say deal?! This Cesca Crossbody bag is also adorable. If you want a more timeless staple that you’ll hold on to for years (and consider an investment), check out this tote in Light Oak or Luggage from Tory Burch. I have it in black and it’s a staple piece in my winter wardrobe.

You can’t forget your shades or jewelry! I’m 100% a Ray Ban Aviator gal. I think they fit my face nicely and I wear them errrrrryday. This watch from Daniel Wellington is on my summer wishlist too. If you’re a Kate Spade gal, this New York Metro luggage brown one is for you. I think a brown leather watch is classic & effortless. And is very versatile. I also love a good gold bangle or bracelet.
