I hope you had a great weekend! Our friend Matt’s parents stayed with us and we ate at a neat restaurant called Mongers and spent much of the weekend outside. They golfed while I brunched with girlfriends and we all reconnected for a wonderful home-cooked seafood dinner Saturday night. I can’t stop thinking about those crabcakes!

Today I’m sharing our monthly highlights from April. Besides a fun trip to Chicago, we spent most of April with each other and the pups, enjoying our home and the beautiful weather. I’ve taken many walks to Zilker Park and Eric and I have started regularly hitting golf balls! I love it until I have to putt. I’m terrible at putting and I hate losing but its a process and I’m learning! I hope to actually play the course this month. We’ll see if I succeed with that goal…

In April…

We visited our friend’s family ranch out in Brownwood, TX and spent the weekend unplugged and in good company

I had a blast at my photoshoot at the South Congress Hotel with Kelsey Butler Harrison (first post coming tomorrow!)

We surprised my grandmother for her 85th birthday in Chicago and I’ve never seen her more happy

My sisters and I booked an exciting “Last Hoorah” trip for this summer…. Stay tuned for details!

I attended a “Doodle” meet up at Zilker Park with our pups… It was the cutest thing ever
