I’m sure many of you have thought about what your dream home would look like. Growing up, I envisioned a wrap around porch. Several bedrooms. Kids running around. Lots of natural light. A fireplace. Or two. Lots of accent colors. Leather furniture. Rustic decor… They call it a ‘Dream’ Home right? So you can envision whatever you want, no matter how unrealistic or unattainable. So if I’m playing by those rules (which DUH, I am), then we’ll also include a gahgeous tree house in the backyard (which apparently is a dreamy forest…. sigh).
Whaaaaaaaaat. Okay fine I’ll get real. But seriously how badly do you want to grab a bunch of books and a cozy blanket and shack up there all day?
With the world of Pinterest, ideas and inspiration have exploded with possibility. I love scrolling through my home page and discovering what other people are finding inspiring too. AH. So. Much. Information! It can be overwhelming, but after saving some images that really stick out to you, you’ll eventually have a collection of boards with tons of things you’ll want to get back to. It’s awesome. One of my favorite boards to revisit is my ‘At Home’ board. I save all sorts of pretty pictures of homes in there. Here are some of my faves:

^^ I’m a huge sucker for shelving. I dream of one day having a really neat bookcase. As a photographer and picture collector, I love having neat places to display my images. I think it makes a home so inviting ^^
^^ My favorite Holiday is Christmas. This cozy Cabin feel makes me want to curl up by a fire and listen to Bing Crosby ^^
^^ We have a leather couch at home and I’m in love with it. It’s so easy to pair with accent pillows that really catch your eye. Gorgeous! ^^
^^ A mantle and a fireplace. And a cozy blanket. Please take me here?! ^^
^^ Here is another example of a beautiful dining space with a statement chandelier (I guess they all make statements hmmm) and a rustic dining table ^^
^^ Eric and I recently got frames for some our honeymoon pictures that we are going to display above our sideboard. I love frames with a large mat area! It really makes an image stand out and adds a great touch to a living space ^^
^^ Anthropologie Throw Pillows. So darn pretty. I LOVE ^^
^^ Alright, this is a big “Dream On” but you know our love for Vino. We dream of having a wine cellar one day. How glorious is this little room?! ^^
