Do any of you save ALL of your letters, birthday cards, notes, & pictures? Okay, phew. Glad I’m not flying solo with this one. I love snail mail. I love hand written notes. These little things matter to me. You know why? I spent last night flipping through years worth of moments and memories. Laughing. Crying. Reminiscing. Remembering.
There are days when I have lows, just like every other human on this planet. And these boxes of love make me realize how lucky I am to have the life I have with the people in it, and I can’t help but feel a wave of calamity rush over me when I remember. When I reflect.
I found a quote on a birthday card from my friend Victoria many moons ago that I have to share today. Because I haven’t shared a quote since Maya Angelou. And because this quote just resonates with me. And it very well might resonate with you…
UGH- isn’t that amazing?
Don’t be surprised if this pops up in an instagram post later this week with a picture that carries meaning with me. I LOVE quotes like this. Quotes that make you think. Make you reread it just to check to see if it was as wondrous and awesome as you thought it the first time.
Did you just reread it? Thought so ;)
Enjoy your Humpday. That’s all I’ve got…
