Today I’m sharing the best post workout smoothie ever- banana, chocolate, peanut butter, and protein. It is SO simple but it requires specific ingredients. I’m going to give you two options today…
- Got a Costco membership? Awesome, go ahead and buy chocolate Muscle Milk. It’s the best thing ever.
- If not, try ordering Chocolate Peanut Butter protein from BodyBuilding.com… They have the best prices and the best flavors. You’ll have this tub for quite a few months if you use it regularly and even longer if you don’t. I highly recommend it!
The first recipe requires 1 banana, 1 spoon of peanut butter (almond butter if you’re feeling extra healthy) and 1 x 11oz Muscle Milk Drink. They are gluten and milk free by the way… (if you don’t belong to Costco, you can order them here…)
The second recipe requires 1 banana, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 cup of almond milk, and 1 spoon of peanut butter. Equally as delicious! Directions: mix everything in a blender!
I can barely describe to you the gratification of slurping down one of these after a long run. It feels SO good. YOU feel so good. And they are super high protein and perfect to keep your body fueled and energized.
