#TGIT baby. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite looks ever- jeans, booties, and a statement sweater. I love this ensemble so much, I wore it for my engagement pictures.

Having a statement sweater is perfect for church, the office, hanging at home, a date night, dinner at a friend’s, gosh- anywhere? This sweater I’m showing you is one of my favorite things I have ever owned. Thank you Andrea Schrage for spotting it at Nordstrom two years ago. I wish I could link it but of course it is long gone. Instead I’ve linked some awesome cardigans & knits that each make their own statement.

One of the things I love about cooler weather is being able to wear layers and sweaters. It’s just so cozy and looks so good! Sweaters are perfect for all age groups too. You aren’t ‘trying to be young’ as my mom would say by wearing a chic sweater in your 50s. You’ll just look awesome! Promise!

Eric and I are back to Chicago for a work function this weekend. Although we finally have that perfect winter weather in Austin, I’m excited to (hopefully) see some snow again this weekend.  I’ll be packing quite a few sweaters and winter boots just in case.
