Nothing says I See You Summer like a gorgeous coral maxi dress in a beautiful floral print. The second I saw this, I knew I had to wear it and I eagerly made the purchase on ASOS. Are you familiar with shopping on ASOS? I buy clothing from there all the time. I pay $19 a year for 2 day shipping & free returns and with the amount of dresses I order, it is totally worth it.
What I love about this dress is how feminine and light it is. The drape in the front gives a big swoosh as you walk and I just adore the neckline and it’s bright color. Because of the way this dress ties (only at one spot just above your waist), it is essential to carry a few safety pins in your purse… especially if you anticipate wearing it on a windy day. One bad gust and this baby is blowing open! Be prepared… or be uncomfortable. I promise to always share my honest thoughts with you guys…
Once you prepare yourself, this pretty number is ready for any gala, wedding, or fancy event you might have on your calendar! And you’ll be so happy you wore it. I’ve also linked two very similar ones if they better suit you’re fancy ;) I’m wearing pretty simple jewelry with this, but this lends itself to some really cool earrings. I can picture it with these pretty crispin drops or beautiful crystal ear jackets :) And of course, my favorite spring 6th St Clutch from Kelly Wynne.
April has been nothing but picture-perfect in Austin this year. We’ve had only a few days of rain but mostly warm sunshine and not overly humid air. I’ve been spending as much time as possible outside: running, walking, sitting on the patio, and enjoying as much of the fresh blooms and beauty that will quickly be taken over by intense heat this summer. So yes, right now I’m pretending it’s summer and getting myself to the pool, grilling, hitting golf balls, and opening all the windows for fresh air.
I’m really excited for this summer because we have lots of fun travel plans before Baby D arrives. We’ll see a bunch of friends and family and get to check out some new places. I’m so pumped!
What summer plans do you have? Is anyone else doing some traveling?
