Happy Friday Guys! Can you believe Easter is just over a week away? How are you doing with your goals for Lent? I purged so much stuff and I’m beyond proud but I did not make it giving up cheese… oh well, we win some, we lose some, right?
I ventured to a new hair salon on Wednesday after a much much needed hair treatment (BYE ROOTS) and I’m so happy with the results! A couple of friends recommended Mirror Mirror Salon and I haven’t walked out of a hair appointment feeling that fresh and satisfied since I moved to Austin. It cost a lot more than what I generally pay but for once, it felt worth it. We wear our hair every day, right? Anyway, please excuse the very rooty, needed-a-color-treatment-like-yesterday, hair in these pictures. It was a very very windy day which didn’t help my cause and I probably should have washed my hair that morning… HA! Moving on…
Here are things I generally do the week before Easter:
Listen to Jesus Christ Superstar on repeat
Get excited about an Easter egg hunt
Consider buying empty eggs and filling them in anticipation of Easter egg hunt
Pick out an Easter dress
Forget buying eggs for Easter egg hunt
Enjoy Easter meal with family or friends
I generally fail the crafty department for this particular holiday but I never fail in picking out my Easter dress ahead of time. I think it’s so fun to wear bright prints or pastels , attend Church, and cook. Last year we traveled for Easter and the previous year we hosted for the first time which was so much fun. We had a couple of friends over for dinner and had a chance to whip out our nice dining ware. This year we are heading to a friend’s!
Today I’m sharing a really dainty pink lace dress that looks so pretty with tassel earrings and bow heels (mine are sold out, tear). I’m wearing a size 4 but I’d say I’m rather pushing it here. It felt tight so if you are between sizes, make sure to order a size up! :)
I’m also wearing my new favorite 6th St. Clutch from Kelly Wynne! I LOVE the rose quartz color and how it blends with so many Spring outfits :) It’s part of Kelly’s “Do 512” line dedicated to Austin.
Have a wonderful weekend! I’m so excited for Eric to come home tomorrow :)
